JOB CLASSIFICATION: Custodian
LOCATION: Margaret Chase Smith Community School
Second Shift
HOUR: Monday- Friday
40 hours per week
52 weeks per year
Position Starts June 9, 2025
Qualifications:
1. Minimum High School Diploma or HiSET
2. Must hold a valid Maine drivers license
3. Documented experience in custodial services
4. Demonstrated ability to work with others in a team setting
5. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
6. Must be able to climb and work on ladders
7. Demonstrated knowledge of:
❖ Chemical handling, SDS sheets
❖ Storage and handling techniques
❖ Operation of cleaning equipment
❖ Heating & Ventilation
❖ Minor building repairs
